In class we took a end of course survey. We had to explain three things we learned in the class this semester. We also explained some things we believe we have to work on and some things we believe we have mastered. I believe I have to work on presenting more and speaking out loud without getting nervous. I believe I also have to work on coming to class more even though I can still easily maintain my grade.

In class we took an Assessment on the the story The yellow wallpaper. After taking the assessment we went over the answers and received the opportunity to explain why we chose certain answers and where we went wrong. Originally I received a 7 out of 10 but during the review of the answers I got the chance to explain one of my answers. I was able to explain to explain my thought process which allowed me to  received credit which would put my score as an 80. I really appreciated this opportunity and this made me feel better because an 80 is much better than a 70.

In class we took time to make up some missing work we had in the class. This also gave us some time to prepare for our assessment on the yellow wallpaper. This day was short and went by really fast which I enjoyed because it allowed me to get a lot of things down without it feeling like I did a lot. I was pretty confident it what I remembered from the story so I mostly working on my missing work from other classes.

In class we went over the book The yellow wallpaper again. As we went over the book we asked ourselves questions that we had while reading and found the answers within the text. We went over three questions with our teacher and did the rest by ourselves. This was in preparation for of assessment on Wednesday. I enjoyed doing this because it was a good way to study and really helped my understand certain things I was confused about at first.

In class we read the paper called “I want a wife”. This story was written from the perspective of a man. I believe this viewpoint of a man was very unrealistic, and also offensive in a way. There were many things that I as a woman would not tolerate, nor accept. I did not really enjoy reading this passage.
