In class we read an article of the Feminism. I really enjoyed reading about this because I felt connected to the article and agreed with a lot of the points and arguments. We also read a poem titled “I want a wife”. This poem was funny to me because of how unrealistic it was. It was written by a woman from a man’s perspective. Some of the things stated in this article I’ve heard from men before but a lot of what was said will never happen from me.

In class today we read/ listened to a ted talk about a single story. The speaker talked about how having just one perspective or narrative about a person, place, or culture can limit our understanding and lead to stereotypes. It made me realize the importance of seeking out diverse voices and experiences to truly understand the richness and complexity of the world. It reminded me that we should always strive to see beyond the surface and embrace multiple stories to foster empathy and connection. It was a really thought-provoking talk!

In class we took a survey that gave us jobs that matched our answers. We then researched those jobs and wrote down information about them. I got real estate agents and actor. These or jobs I am interested in and would love to know more about.
